Mrs. Rariden has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Union College in Schenectady, New York and a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education and General Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education in New York City. She taught in Indiana before moving to Texas where she has been teaching at Founders Classical Academy of Leander since its founding year in 2014. Mrs. Rariden is passionate about teaching and lives with her husband, Drew, their son, Kevin, and their daughter, Layla. She also serves as a literacy coach for the Hillsdale K-12 Education Office.
"I love teaching children, especially kindergarteners, because I have the opportunity to watch them develop a love of learning. I get to watch them come into the classroom hardly knowing howto spell their names to being able to read. I'm lucky because I get to witness so much progress in one year."
