Executive Secretary to the Associate Vice President for K-12 Education

B.G.S., Concentration in Biology, Indiana University

Michelle is the Executive Secretary to the AVP for K-12 Education. Following her graduation from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s of General Studies with a concentration in science, she started her professional career as a sales representative for a pharmaceutical wholesaler. After raising five children, Michelle began her career at Hillsdale College in the Career Services office in 2012 and quickly advanced to the Alumni then Provost’s office. After a number of years, she left the College to be the office manager of a busy dental practice. She also worked as a dental assistant. Michelle returned to Hillsdale College in 2022 and worked as an assistant to the Executive Vice President for Institutional Advancement before joining the K-12 education office in July 2024. In her current role she provides high level support to the AVP.
